Miss Yunshu Qiu

I am a PhD student in Comparative Literatures and Cultures. I am broadly interested in literary translation, reception studies, children's literature and contemporary Chinese culture and history. My current research focuses on the Chinese translation and reception of Lewis Carroll’s two Alice books since 1922.

I hold a Master of Translation and Interpretation (English-Chinese) from Fudan University, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and Law from East China University of Political Science and Law. I am also a freelance translator for children’s books, where I have independently translated and published fourteen picture books, comic books, and novellas.
