Description

Despite an increasing use of 3D woven composites in the Automotive industry, the improvement in quality of the samples manufactured has slowed down due to the lack of tools to inspect these structures at the design stage. This proposal aims at applying a novel technique to 3D woven composites to detect and characterize defects that occurred during their manufacturing.
