Best Poster Runner-Up Award

Ahmad was awarded the Best Poster Runner-Up for his presentation titled “Large Deformation Finite Element Analysis of the Installation of Offshore Pile Foundations.” The work focused on a critical and challenging aspect of offshore renewable energy, addressing the risks associated with the installation of offshore wind turbine (OWT) foundations. The study employed a novel numerical method to model large deformations during pile installation, providing valuable insights into the performance and reliability of OWT foundation systems.
