STEM Ambassador Awards 2013 - Bristol, Bath & Somerset The STEM University Department of the Year was awarded to the University of Bristol, School of Experimental Psychology and the Bristol Neuroscience Group. This was in recognition of a variety of high quality, high impact school STEM activities from STEM Ambassadors in this department/group, please see a few examples below: Six STEM Ambassadors from the department took part in a school engagement project names Smarter UK, working with a number of local secondary schools in partnership with a science show delivery team (www.graphicscience.co.uk/gs_projects/smarter-uk/) The Brain Box Challenge (an in-school workshop) has engaged with nearly 1000 pupils across the Bristol area and is looking to widen its reach into secondary schools.
