Wireless and Mobile Communications Global Category Winner

Received at the NI Global Engineering Impact Awards in Austin, Texas, for a paper I wrote jointly with Steffen Malkowsky entitled "Setting a World Record in 5G Wireless Spectrum Efficiency With Massive MIMO". Through a collaborative venture between the University of Bristol, Lund University and the NI Advanced Wireless Research Group, we demonstrated an ability to accommodate up to 145.6 bits/s/Hz using a 128-antenna basestation; 22x the capacity of current 4G (LTE) networks.
