An assessment of domestic violence services in the London borough of Brent

Description

This research was conducted in the London Borough of Brent by Gill Hague. It analysed and assessed the domestic violence services in that borough and the effectiveness of provision and of strategic development on the issue, using a variety of research methods. The study was a piece of investigative research including the statutory sector and voluntary sector projects such as Brent Asian Women’s Resource Project and Brent Women’s Aid. It was sited in the Community Safety Department of the Brent Borough Council and has led directly to strategic and policy developments in Brent.
