This SIG was developed to meet the needs of teachers, trainers and learners in clinical education. Our aim is to support research-informed best practice across the continuum of clinical education, specifically for those involved in developing and running PGT programmes in medical and clinical education. We are a diverse group, not always medically qualified, and some of us have non-traditional academic career trajectories. What we all have in common, though, is that we are motivated and experienced teachers with excellent understanding of pedagogy. The SIG aspires to be a platform to exploit that knowledge and wisdom and to share best practice.
