Propose a methodology to change the "factor" of CAD models so that the final model still represent the initial artefact, but improving the editability of CAD models.
Layman's description
CAD Refactoring aims to change the internal structure of a CAD model without changing the geometry of the model. The objective of such process is to increase the editability of a CAD model.
