Project Details
Layman's description
We are investigating the "heart at work" during exercise using state of the art heart ultrasound imaging. This will give us until now unavailable information on how the heart deals with different modes and different levels of exercise. Our ultimate objective is to use this new data to design exercise programmes for our patients with congenital heart disease. This project is a collaboration with the Children´s Health and Exercise Research Centre of the University of Exeter.
