The project involves a collaboration between the Department of Social Work at the Alberto Hurtado University in Chile and the Townsend Centre for International Poverty Research/School for Policy Studies at the University of Bristol.

Dr Munoz from the Department of Social Work at Alberto Hurtado University will visit the University of Bristol to work with Christina Pantazis to undertake a desk-based piece of research on comparative perspectives of poverty and social exclusion using the UK and Chile as case studies. The main outcome of the project will be the production of a co-authored journal article which will be submitted to a high-ranking international social policy journal.
