Description
Connected aims to help decision-makers in Adult
Social Care (ASC) make better decisions by growing their ability to use
research evidence. We are a partnership of Local Authority ASC departments, service
providers, universities and service users and carers. We have Researchers in Residence working with each partner agency and a practitioner from each agency seconded to our project. Working with service users and carers, they produce evidence briefings to address questions raised by the agency practitioners and leaders. We will evaluate this approach to examine the effect on the use of research evidence to inform practice and decision making in adult social care.
