Constitutional Hedges of Intellectual Property (CONST-IP) is a research project funded by the Academy of Finland (Academy of Finland, Decision 298381).
The project is located at the Faculty of Law, University of Turku. Principal investigator is Professor of Commerical Law Tuomas Mylly. Project duration is 48 months starting from 1st of September 2016, and ends by 31st of August, 2020.

The aim is to provide the first integrative analysis of how intellectual property (IP) is protected through constitutional measures based on:
human rights law, particularly protection of property ownership;
investment treaties; and
certain constitutional-type provisions of trade and IP treaties and EU IP instruments.
