‘Deep Understanding’ for ant-racist school transformation

Project Details

Description

The project supports anti-racist school transformation as a shared endeavour across a cohort of primary schools (REP). Developing school leaders’ and classroom teachers’ knowledge and understanding of anti-racist practices underpins the project. This is coupled with opportunities for stakeholders in the wider school community, for example, parents, to learn about anti-racist approaches. In this way, anti-racist interventions (policy and curriculum) will take place against a backdrop of whole-school learning and conversations. It is envisaged that 17 primary schools will take part in the proposed project.
