Report commissioned by the Centre for Homelessness Impact. This project involved analysis of publicly available UK government and research data as well as collection of testimonials from service users and frontline workers. The report estimated the prevalence of Disability in homelessness populations in the UK and presented an analysis of the barriers to effectively supporting and relieving homelessness for Disabled people. Based on findings from the report, a book chapter was developed for the Palgrave Encyclopaedia of Disability. This chapter explored contentions in terminology with regard to the intersection of Disability and Homelessness and the impact this had on persons seeking homelessness support who identify as Disabled.
