Explainable AI in Healthcare devices

This internal funding will support a one-week research visit to Dr. Rúben F. Pereira at the University of Porto, to initiate collaboration and co-develop the proposal for HORIZON-HLTH-2025-01-TOOL-03 Healthcare Cluster Call. This specific call supports the integration of AI into biomedical research, with a focus on leveraging multimodal data to advance healthcare technologies. Our research on biofabrication and tissue regeneration fits within this framework, particularly we are planning to incorporate AI models to optimize the design and functionality of biomedical devices for tissue repair.
