Key findings
We have seen how it is possible for children to experience these workshops as both entertainment and evidence-building. We saw them step together between worlds of play, imagination, constraint and activism, drawing on verbal and visual metaphors, incorporating contradictions and mis-hearings, and appreciating their shared experiences as sometimes taken-for-granted, sometimes explored and incorporated. Their ease of movement between imagination and both present and external realities, our care with what is being offered, has allowed the exploration to feel a respectful and ethical process.
