Description
This project will help strengthen the understanding of flood
modelling in the complex environment of deltas with a number of academics
at Kyoto University. The visit will be hosted by Professor Yasuto Tachikawa
who has an expertise on modelling hydrologic processes, and has worked
extensively in the Chao Phraya Delta in Thailand. Further work will be
conducted with experts on flood inundation modelling and with the SOUSEI
group (Program for Risk Information and Climate Change).
