Self-poisoning in Sri Lanka is the main form of hospital presenting self-harm. There is limited understanding of the life-course risk factors that contribute to self-poisoning risk in Sri Lanka. This study aims to provide insights into possible targets for suicide and self-harm prevention in this lower-middle income country in South Asia
