How Do We Talk About Youth Violence Without Focusing On Knives?

Project Details

Description

The public discourse around youth violence is heavily focused on the imagery of weapons/knives and this has had an impact on strategic policy and policing practices. This is despite evidence suggesting this is not an effective approach. We aim to use craftivist fieldwork methods to explore young people's views and experiences in a way which focuses on the issue of youth violence in a different way.
