Description

Funded by a Monash University Interdisciplinary Research Grant , this project examines the social, cultural, and ethical ramifications of changing public trust in the expert biomedical knowledge systems of emergent and complex global societies, drawing on bioethics, the social sciences, and the medical humanities. A roundtable discussion and a masterclass took place at Monash University in May 2016, while a special issue of the Journal of Bioethical Inquiry was published in March 2017.
