Project Details
Description
Using just-in-time production as a primary prism for examining the working and living conditions of migrant workers in the electronics supply chain in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), this research seeks to determine how transnational production acts as a source of novel forms of control and exploitation of migrant labour, or what I call ‘just-in-time labour’ (JITL).
