I have been researching, with Bryony Enright, how ‘co-produced’ research may be creating new spaces of freedom for academics, civil society organisations and others to think, create and effect change in the world. We have interviewed academics involved in over 50 research projects and are working on issues relating to the connection between precarity and knowledge production. I’m currently writing on the cultural politics of co-production and the implications for university futures.
