Opinion Dynamics and Big-Data Fusion Strategies in Recommender Systems with Smartcities Applications

In this research visit, we focus on: (1) linking the latest findings made with current Group Recommender systems research undertaken by the applicant’s research team in Bristol; and (2) studying the applicability of cutting-edge Opinion Dynamics-based Group Recsys in smart cities applications, e.g. tourism, leisure and e-governance, with particular focus on the role Big Data technologies can play in scaling up developed approaches into a real-world setting.
