Description
This project explored the increasing blurring of work and leisure and the growing impact of digital technology on urban social life and the economy through the case of pay-per-minute cafes. The study involved ethnographic fieldwork in London, Manchester and Moscow, and 57 on-site interviews with managers, staff and customers.
