This project is led by Professor Benjamin Hudson of Pennsylvania State University and is associated with his successful application to the Benjamin Meaker Visiting Professor scheme in May-June 2019. Working with Helen Fulton and other members of the Centre for Medieval Studies, Professor Hudson aims to study the movement of peoples and their cultures throughout the Atlantic region during the eleventh to sixteenth centuries, with particular attention to the Irish Sea province.
