The overall aim of this project was to explore the support and housing needs of the Travelling community in Hackney; identify the best management structure for effective delivery of the service and develop a short and long term action plan focusing on holistic service provision and inter-agency working arrangements. Sarah Cemlyn’s part of the research involved coordinating, conducting and writing up interviews with stakeholders in education, welfare, health and voluntary agencies, production of a related literature review and interviews with Travellers (with Lisa Goodson and Libby Porter).
