Researching and teaching women’s issues to promote women’s equality and empowerment in India

This project is a large collaboration of leading UK and Indian academics from five institutions. The project is building postgraduate teaching capacity on women’s studies at TISS and leading to the development of a gender violence research group there, and a variety of international research collaborations on violence against women.
