Project Details
Description
A key finding from a recently completed project investigating ‘how adult services engage with parents with learning disabilities’ (Summary attached) found that social workers often felt they had little training about working with this group of parents and that they would benefit from training resources that were readily available when they need them. So, with support from BASW and RiP, Beth Tarleton (University of Bristol) and Gillian MacIntyre (University of Strathclyde) got funding for a new project to create some videos and narrated powerpoints that will be accessible via BASW and RiP websites.
