The project comprised an international, cross-disciplinary, systematic review of the school choice literature to ask: what does the research tell us about the effects of choice-based admissions policies on the allocation of pupils to schools; with regard to both different types of pupil (in particular socioeconomic status and ethnicity) and different institutional structures.
