Project Details

Description

The primary Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) is to eradicate poverty in all its forms everywhere and to leave no one behind. Latin America has historically measured poverty using the Unsatisfied Basic Needs (UBN) approach, however, this approach is no longer suitable and does not produce reliable and valid poverty indices. The project aims to facilitate the implementation of state-of-the-art poverty measurement methods that truly capture adult and child poverty consistently in Latin America.
