Project Details
Description
Bristol City Council is responsible for the management of 22 residential homes for elderly people, including five for those who are also deemed to be mentally infirm (EMI homes) and ensures the quality of its provision through a system known as the Bristol Quality Standard. In order to provide a regular and on-going review of the experiences of the residents of these homes in relation to these standards, a survey was devised for both residents and the relatives or friends of those living in EMI homes. The survey is carried out on a rolling basis such that each home is covered twice each year. The results of these surveys are collated and analysed and summary reports presented to the Elderly Persons Homes Management Team for use in their quality assurance processes.
