Tel-me: Technology enhanced learning in medical education

Project Details

Description

The project aimed to build and sustain a longitudinal partnership between the Centre for Medical Education and the Graduate School of Education, both at the University of Bristol. This partnership developed a programme of action research in technology enhanced learning in medical education. This initiative had a dual intention - to investigate, develop and enhance the ways in which technology is embedded within the medical curriculum and through this to develop capacity building in educational research amongst staff in the Centre for Medical Education. The programme conduced a longitudinal study of undergraduate medical students in year 3 of the undergraduate medical programme and has demonstrated its potential for improving practice and research capacity amongst staff.
