The Radical Film Network: Sustaining Alternative Film Cultures

This project was funded by the AHRC's International Research Networking Scheme and run in conjunction with the Radical Film Network, which the PI co-founded in 2013. Across a series of events in Bristol, Dublin, Glasgow, Sheffield and New York City, it facilitated a diverse international community of academics, filmmakers and activists to address the past, present and future of radical film culture, exploring four interrelated research questions based on key themes: ontology; praxis; challenges; and policy.
