TOPIC is an NIHR-funded study that aims to transform the treatment of eczema, and research into food allergy and its prevention, in children.

It will be looking at:
- The best way to use emollients and topical steroids
- The effectiveness of an eczema clinic
- The research priorities for food allergy in children
- The early introduction of food allergens
- The integration of public, patient (parent/child) and stakeholder opinion into all of the above, ensuring inclusivity and relevance of the research to all of society
