Understanding complex environmental signalling in plants by using a simple model system

A challenge to understanding environmental adaptation in plants by multi-gene families is the number of copies of the genes and their functional redundancy. This University of Bristol International Strategic Fund project will use a simple model plant system with small genome to address this challenge of gene redundancy.
