Project Details
Description
We conduct transdisciplinary research activities around early weather warnings (particularly heat, in relation to other weather hazards) that are relevant for health, as well as their uptake in local municipalities and vulnerable communities in South Africa. This project has strong involvement from the South African Weather Service (SAWS), and it is funded by the UK Met Office Weather and Climate Science for Service Partnership Programme South Africa.
