Women and Walking: stepping into women's shoes to inform local policy on green travel

Funded by Research England's Policy Support Fund, this event will 1) bring together a group of policy stakeholders for the very first time to discuss research into women walking 2) offer stakeholders a unique VR experience, led by Calico Theatre Company, which will challenge participants’ perceptions around women’s walking and build empathy, and 3) allow us to gain a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges of each stakeholder with a view to future collaboration.
