Women, Walking and Performance

This IAA Seed project piloted a drama workshop format for collecting women's stories of walking for a verbatim play. Facilitated by Breathing Fire theatre company, we investigated the use playback theatre techniques over a two-stage workshop to test the practical and ethical scope for collating the stories of women. One of these was a drop-in workshop produced as part of International Women’s Day, the other worked with the Hillfields Community group, Wild Women.
