Abstract

This paper proposes an FPGA-based hardware architecture with MACsec to secure dynamic 100 Gbps Open-RAN Fronthaul networks, where multiple channels are aggregated with independent MACsec protection. The architecture respects the fronthaul delay budget with a fixed pipeline latency of 537.6 ns.
