Abstract

In search for antioxidant constituents, a new triterpenoid (1) along with three known compounds (24) were isolated from Sorbus lanata. LCMS, HR-ESIMS, and advanced NMR (1D & 2D) data were used for the determination of structures and spectral assignments. The isolated compounds were also tested for their antioxidant activities in the diphenylpicrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging assay.
