Abstract
Professor Karen Cox is pro-vice-chancellor for staffing and the community, and professor in cancer and palliative care, at the University of Nottingham. In conversation with Dr Lesly Huxley, she describes some of the challenges and achievements in her own career development and in her wide-ranging portfolio.
