    Abstract

    Saphenous vein harvest is commonly required in cardiovascular surgery, and is often left to the most junior member of the surgical team. Here we provide a guide for surgical trainees undertaking this procedure and illustrate how meticulous surgical technique can produce excellent cosmetic results.
