Aims, Objectives and Guidelines for PhD students

Tim Kovacs

Research output: Working paper

Abstract

I suspect there are common misconceptions about how and even why to do a PhD. This document sets out my ideas of the subject, lists objectives a PhD student should work toward and suggests guidelines for activities PhD students should undertake in order to get the most out of their studies. I have also made a form to help you reflect on your progress toward various objectives.
