Abstract
In the last years an even more attention has been focused on emergency and crisis management systems. Both communi- cation and computing aspects are of primary importance for a fast and reliable response in these particular scenarios. Differently from other approaches, in this paper we consider an integrated communication and computing solution, by proposing a joint approach, where a distributed computing platform and a heterogeneous meshed communication sys- tem interoperate in order to enhance the system reliability and readiness.
