Abstract

IFA sponsored research, published in 2008 reveals an extraordinary skewed demographic for workers in all sectors of archaeology. This agrees with our data set commissioned from UCAS in 2007, which describes applicants to all UK university departments. Archaeologists seem to form a very particular constituency.
