Abstract
Are we reinforcing gendered thinking styles in higher education?
Education shapes not just what we learn, but how we think. In this piece, I explore whether our teaching methods unintentionally reinforce gendered cognitive patterns—and what we can do to create more balanced learning experiences.
Key questions explored:
Do men and women develop different thinking styles in education?
Are we unknowingly reinforcing traditional gender thinking styles in the way we teach?
How can educators foster a more inclusive and well-rounded learning environment?
