Abstract

Copper complexes containing chiral N-heterocyclic carbene ligands catalyze the regioselective nucleophilic boryl attack at the beta-carbon of alpha,beta-unsaturated esters with enantioselectivities up to 74% ee, depending on the nature of the ester group.
