Abstract
Comments on R. v BNE (CA) on whether the prosecution should disclose the true age of a person shown in images used to set up decoy social media profiles by the police to identify suspected paedophiles where the defendant alleged that he genuinely believed he was exchanging messages with a person over the age of 16 who was pretending to be younger as part of a role-playing fantasy.
