Abstract
This contribution to Backpages offers some of my reflections on attending a work-in-progress sharing from Theatre of the Gentle Furies, which explored how myths and old stories can be used to make theatre that responds to the climate emergency.
Backpages is an opportunity for the academy to engage with theatre and performance practice with immediacy and insight, and for theatre workers and performance artists to engage critically and reflectively on their work and the work of their peers.
