Abstract
In this paper we present the results of breast cancer detection using a symmetrical antenna array. This new antenna array is built on a curved surface and can be used with realistic three-dimensional breast models, as well as with real breast cancer patients. The complete measurement setup and post-reception focusing algorithm is described in this contribution. The system performance is verified experimentally and results of detection of small spherical tumours are presented.
